Kerang seemed like a nice place to stop but we were worried about flooding. We got lucky, where many did not, as we received great advice from the owners about routes and conditions. On arrival, check in was swift and the room was clean, spacious; a nice place to be. We slept very well and the large shower was a hit. Lovely couple own and run the property and we wish them all the very best for 2023. Extremely helpful owner and a really nice bloke, very clean motel, great advice both local and roads. We were caught by floods, he gave us a place to park camper trailer and allowed us to be very flexible with booking due to road closure uncertainty. We ate at the restaurant and food was great. The rooms are in the process of being upgraded. They were extremely clean, tidy and beautifully presented albeit some aspects were dated but still maintained. The food and beverages in the restaurant were fantastic value for money. We were able to get late check in and the rates were extremely competitive. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious with a great size bathroom and a decent size fridge. The bed is comfortable and the addition of the sofa is perfect for taking time to relax. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for walking the town and to the shops. Use as a base for day trips to Swan Hill Cohuna or even Echuca. Room is perfect, clean, spacious, the bed is so comfortable. Shower is also the best we have had in a Motel.. Walking distance to shops and pubs. Our stay could not have been better.
